The original image is not a simple two-color rectangle. Turquoise occupies the upper area, peach spreads across the middle and lower field, and the end introduces blue. Black lines vary in thickness and direction; small pale shapes and dots interrupt the larger areas.
Look at that whole arrangement when deciding which end faces the room entrance. The photographed lower end bends forward, so its apparent depth should not be treated as a scaled plan. Ask for the design layout in your selected dimensions if the exact balance of fields will affect your placement.
Start with the seating positions that make conversation comfortable. Then tape the rug outline between them and check whether the long edges can relate consistently to both sofas. A rug centered on the room may still look off-center relative to the actual seats.
