Neutral Abstract Rug – Hand Knotted Wool Pebble Design, Thick High Pile Moroccan Shag

A neutral abstract rug, hand-knotted in thick Beni Mrirt wool with no dye at all. Eight soft pebble shapes in natural oat and camel are scattered across a plain warm ivory field: two large, three medium and three small, each one solid colour with no outline. The pebbles are knotted a little taller than the ivory, so they sit on the field like smooth stones on sand.

It brings a gentle, organic movement to a room without adding busy pattern, with generous ivory space between the shapes, and the oat and camel are the colours of the fleece itself. The number of pebbles grows with the size of the rug, so every size keeps the same calm spacing. It suits a living room, bedroom, dining room or study, and it is also woven with ivory pebbles on an oat field.

Care

Vacuum without a beater bar, rotate every six months, blot spills with cool water, and have it professionally washed every three to five years.
