A patterned wall does not automatically call for a plain rug. The combination works best when the two patterns have different jobs: one shapes the background, while the other defines the seating below.

The rug has a distinct center with nested angular shapes, surrounded by uneven vertical lines. Dark horizontal bands finish the upper end. It is a composed drawing rather than an identical motif repeated across the surface.
Keep the original image beside a generous wallpaper sample. Compare whole sections instead of matching one tiny black mark to one leaf. The relationship should make sense from across the room.
