Ivory and Brown Line Rug – Minimal Hand Knotted Wool, Thick High Pile Moroccan Shag

An ivory and brown line rug, hand-knotted in thick Beni Mrirt wool with no dye at all. A single ruled line of deep espresso, the darkest natural brown fleece, crosses a plain warm ivory field: it runs in from one side, turns through a soft rounded bend, runs along the rug, turns again and leaves through the other side. The line is knotted a little taller than the ivory, so it stands in quiet relief.

It is a calm, graphic rug that lets the room breathe. The line is placed so that it passes beside a sofa or along one side of a coffee table rather than under it, and it suits a living room, bedroom, dining room or entrance hall.
