Oatmeal and Ivory Textured Rug – Carved Octagon High Pile Hand Knotted Wool, Beni Mrirt

An oatmeal and ivory textured rug, hand-knotted in thick Beni Mrirt wool with no dye at all. Separate octagon rings in soft undyed oat, each about 20 in across with a 3 in band, sit on a 24 in grid over a warm undyed ivory field, with ivory corridors between them so the rings never touch. The rings are knotted taller than the field, so the pattern reads as quiet tone-on-tone relief that changes with the light.

Because every strand is natural, undyed fleece, the colour stays soft and pairs easily with oak, linen, travertine and walnut. It suits a living room, bedroom or dining room, or a quiet library corner, and the high pile feels deep underfoot.
