    Olive Green and Cream Wavy Rug – Hand Knotted Wool Textured High-Low Moroccan Shag, Beni Mrirt

    An olive green and cream wavy rug, hand-knotted in thick Beni Mrirt wool. Four wide olive waves flow across an undyed cream field with two thin moss lines between them, and the rug is carved high-low: the cream stands at full shag height while the olive and moss are cut lower, so the waves read as soft relief.

    Two lots of olive wool are woven in on purpose, so the green shifts gently along each wave. It brings a calm, natural colour to a living room, bedroom, dining room or entrance hall.

    Details

    • Hand-knotted by Berber weavers in the Middle Atlas, Morocco
    • 100% wool pile, about 25 mm (1 in) deep, with the olive and moss waves carved to about 12–15 mm
    • Bound ends with no fringe; each size is the size of the woven rug
    • Woven to order in 4–6 weeks, then delivered in 3–5 business days with free US shipping
    • Available from 3x5 to 14x20 ft, including 12x15 ft; other sizes on request
    • Progress photos from the loom while your rug is woven
    • New wool sheds a little for the first few months; vacuum on suction only

    Care

    Vacuum without a beater bar, rotate every six months, blot spills with cool water, and have it professionally washed every three to five years.
